I wanted to do a shaker style card, but not make it too thick. I decided to pick up some vellum since it was on sale for 7/$1 at Micheals this week.

Christmas Swap 2nd set
Apparently I cannot stop working on these cards for my Christmas swap. I finished my second set for my partners and I die cut the next two sets of cards from my cricut too.
Here was my sneak peek in Instagram as to not give anything away to my partners.
Here is the entire set. One of these will go to one of my five partners.
I've cut out the next two sets of cards so they will be ready to decorate on a whim. Can you see the sneak peek?
Thanks for stopping by, more to come soon.

Christmas Swap
I am hosting a Christmas swap in one of my crafting Facebook groups. There are 46 of us doing a 25 cards swap. We have to make 3x4 cards with the numbers 1-25 on them. We are swapping with 5 different partners so that we get a variety of different styles. Everyone is planning on using the cards in different ways. Some are using them in a Rolodex or Heidi Swapp tray, some are using them in their December daily, and some are using a box or tray of some sort.
This is the tray I am planning on using. I found it at Goodwill for a dollar. I think I will paint it, but I will wait until I receive all of my cards.
Today I started prepping for my first set of 5 cards.
I posted this sneak peek picture on my Instagram and on the facebook group. I didn't want to give too much away, since some of my partners follow me on IG.
I couldn't resist making a few of my cards

Berry Basket Gift
My aunt just moved into her new home and I knew I wanted to send her something special. I took the petite places: spook manor stamp and die set from Papertrey Ink and made it into something homey.
I got this idea from one of Papertrey Ink's designer's, Betsy Veldman. She has such beautiful creations on her blog, you should check her out HERE.
I can't wait to send this to my Aunt, she is going to LOVE it!

A quick gift card holder card
Anyway, I whipped up this gift card-card to mail out to my sweet 6 year old nephew who loves his IPad and all the games on it.
I used my trusty Martha Stewart Scoring Board to crease the edges of a rectangular piece of paper and used a 1" circle punch to make the thumb hole. I then used 1/8" easy tear tape to adhere it to my card. I stamped some stars onto the paper and cut out some stamped stars and adhered with puffy glue dots for a raised effect.
I hope he likes it!

Scrapbook page
I have been scrolling through Instagram and decided to go back to my roots and layout a scrapbook page. I have been loving the layering of embellishments and die cuts and wanted to give it a try.
I have been wanting to do a layout for my daughter, so I figured girly colors was the way to go.
I have an idea of where I am going with it, but I will need to wait for the photo to be ready. I am ordering from the Project Life App for the first time and am hoping that the pictures will be as wonderful as everyone is saying.
